大台ヶ原から始まり奈良県、和歌山県を流れてゆく紀の川。
「ゆく河の流れは絶えずして...」とあるように絶えず流れゆく川は私たちにさまざまな顔を見せる。

滲み出る湧き水、疾走する白糸を束ねたような渓流。 飛沫を上げ乱舞する急流、世界を映し出す水鏡。 そして、人の営みの記憶(メモリ)を抱く穏やかな流れ。 色とりどりの川の姿があの頃の思い出と交錯し、鮮やかな音の河が流れ出す。

鮎の手触り、キラキラ光る水面、夕立の気配、あの日みた水花火!

この風景と記憶を慈しみ、箏に託して未来を紡ぐ、そのような音楽になればと願った。
